At this difficult time, St Kieran’s College teachers have been working hard to maintain high standards and to ensure that Learning and Teaching is continuing, despite the current necessity for school closures.

Our teachers have set up online classes through the use of platforms such as Google Classroom and Microsoft One Note. Classes are continuing on a daily basis with teachers setting, correcting and offering advice on work submitted by students online. There are a variety of resources online available to both students and teachers and we would like to thank all students, their parents and of course, all teachers involved in making this possible. We are very grateful to parents who are supporting this work in homes across the diocese, to students who are taking their studies seriously and continue to take responsibility for their own learning and to our teachers who have adapted their teaching strategies and techniques in order to ensure that our students can continue to learn.

Our Guidance Counsellors Ms Anne Wemyss and Mr Brian Dowling, are available to discuss career options and to offer advice if necessary. Important up to date careers information and deadlines will be posted on the Career Guidance section of our website. Ms Wemyss can be contacted primarily through her email address awemyss@stkieranscollege.ie or alternatively by calling 056 77 61823. Mr Dowling can be contacted at his email address: bridowling@stkieranscollege.ie

Any students requiring pastoral support can contact our school chaplain, Mr Fergal Brennan at the following email address: fbrennan@stkieranscollege.ie

You can also keep in touch with us through our Twitter account @KieransCollege for further updates as we receive information.
