On Thursday 14th November, eight students from the St Kieran’s College Leaving Cert Class of 2019 were honoured with Entrance Scholars Awards at a special ceremony, held in O’Reilly Hall, UCD.

The awards recognise the academic achievements of these students for each achieving 560 points, or more, in their Leaving Certificate. These awards were introduced by UCD in recent times to acknowledge and recognise exceptional students when they join the famous Dublin University.

A reception was held for the students and their families to round off a wonderful celebration of the achievements of these outstanding students. It was a day too, for the families and for the staff of St Kieran’s College, to celebrate, having worked so hard to assist these students on the road to achieving their goals. We wish them continued success in their studies and in their future careers.

The eight St Kieran’s College students who received Entrance Scholars Awards in UCD for 2019 were:
