A Truck and Tractor Run in aid of Cancer Charity, Cois Nore took place at Cillín Hill on Sunday 20th January. This event was organised by a group of Transition Year students; JJ Ryan, Sean Forristal, Jack Walton, Eoin Carroll, Sean MacBride and Tomás Barron. These six students organised the entire event from beginning to end including logistics, promotion, finance, sponsorship and the running of the day. The boys had help from their fellow Transition Year students, many of whom turned out on the day to sell raffle tickets, act as stewards and direct traffic. The sunny weather added to the event and a great crowd turned out to support of this wonderful event. Well done to JJ, Senan, Jack, Eoin, Sean and Tomás and to all who helped out and got involved in this special event.
