A Truck and Tractor Run in aid of St Patrick’s Special Needs School, Kells road took place at Cillín Hill on Sunday 26th January. This event was organised by a group of Transition Year students; Conor Walton, David Parle, Tommy Phelan, Charlie Watts, Jimmy O’Neill and Nick Doheny. These six students organised the entire event from beginning to end including logistics, promotion, finance, sponsorship and the running of the day. The boys had help from their fellow Transition Year students, many of whom turned out on the day to sell raffle tickets, act as stewards and direct traffic. The sunny weather added to the event and a great crowd turned out to support of this wonderful event. Well done to Conor, David, Tommy, Charlie, Jimmy and Nick and to all who helped out and got involved in this special event.
