Annual Priests Reunion

Every summer on the First Tuesday after the 15th of August the College is delighted to host the Annual reunion for those Ordained from St Kieran’s. It is always a great occasion with many from the College who are celebrating significant years, and many more besides, returning to the College to catch up with old friends and share memories.

Towards the end of the summer, and in fact throughout the year, the College often plays host to many different reunions of classes of former students who studied on the Lay Side. People gather to recall anniversaries of the year they started and/or the year the finished. These evenings are a wonderful occasion for friends and classmates to come together to recall time spent in St Kieran’s College and to renew old friendships. If your class is shortly marking a significant time spent from the College – or if you just want to catch up with old friends why not contact the College to arrange a reunion. We are always delighted to welcome back that which makes us most proud, former students!

While there is no set format to the reunions the following seems to have been most successful for classes. If you would like to try something different please make contact we will be delighted to welcome you back.

 The general format:

  • 5pm – Gathering in the College for Mass in the College Chapel
  • 5.45pm – Reception in the College dining room with a word of welcome from the College President and maybe a word on behalf of your class. During this time there is also the possibility of a tour of the school where  many class pictures, teams and other memories are now on display  documenting the years.
  • 6.30 / 7pm – Dinner in a nearby restaurant
